Welcome! Three Finger Lakes counties have formed a collaboration to promote sustainable agriculture. The project was funded by the 2007-2009 Director's Special Call Project, Dr. Helene Dillard, CCE Director.
The Virtual Center's goals are: • To create a new, long term, regionally focused and collaborative effort devoted to the understanding and implementation of sustainable practices and programs for agriculture and communities in the Finger Lakes. • To dramatically increase research and extension programs on sustainable practices/approaches for farmers, landowners and communities in the Finger Lakes. • To implement programs in the Finger Lakes that will lead to the protection of agricultural lands, improved measures of sustainability on farms and improved measures of sustainability in communities.   Stay tuned as we provide resources to educators, agencies and most importantly, our farm community!
